I have found Sheldon and Howitt's Sex Offenders and the Internet to provide a good overview of this complex topic. Ken Singer advises that the latest ATSA journal is useful, but it has yet to arrive at my home. I have been given to understand that the bottom line is that internet child pornography offenders are generally low risk for moving on to contact offenses as well as recidivism. I have not read the articles, though, for the reason set forth above.
