Pedophilic Interest

Is there research that correlates pedophilic interest with reoffending?

My gut tells me that if someone has strong pedophilic interest, he is at high risk to reoffend, despite scoring low on Static, MnSOST, and PCL-R.

But I don't know of any research to back up my gut. Can anyone out there point me in a direction?
